"The Xavian Grande Unica are the logical successor to the smaller Unica models. They retain their most important characteristics, such as an exceptionally natural midrange, a clear soundstage, refined treble and excellent clarity. To this they add a more substantial bass foundation, greater dynamic headroom and a better ability to fill the room. In a direct comparison with the Unica, the Grande Unica do not simply play louder or with deeper bass. The biggest difference lies in the overall confidence of the sound. The bass has more substance, the vocals have greater body, the instruments have a more natural volume, and the soundstage feels more stable. The smaller Unica remain an excellent choice in spaces where their compactness is a deciding factor. The Grande Unica are better suited to listeners who want the same sonic character, but in a larger and more substantial presentation. The bass is firm, controlled and blends well with the midrange. The speakers are beautifully musical and their sound never becomes tiring, even during extended listening sessions. If you have a room measuring between 20 and 35 m², they can be an excellent choice thanks to their natural sound and superb craftsmanship. In my view, this represents a noticeable step towards a wider and more transparent soundstage, whilst retaining the sonic characteristics of the highly acclaimed Xavian Unica model."
