Quarta (“the fourth note”) is the top model of our Classic Series, it´s standmounter with reasonable footprint, but with uncompromise sound quality, that has no competition in this price tag.
Under luxurious finishes with extraordinary veneers (silver ebony, zebrano, rosewood) and black or white high gloss there are many extreme technical solutions with top class components, extremely rigid enclosures and extreme crossovers.
We recommend using dedicated 30 cm Quarta stand (depicted stand sold separately for 990 EUR / pair) to achieve optimal listening height. In specific condition we can alter the height to any custom height needed.

“Soustavy Quarta nabízejí navýsost muzikální projev, který je pro značku Xavian typický, ale na pečlivě vyvážený zvuk se musíme správně naladit. Průzračných otevřených výšek totiž nabízejí právě “tak akorát”, což kvitujeme kupříkladu při reprodukci žesťové sekce v orchestrální nahrávce, která i při fortissimu zní naprosto přirozeně a netahá nás za uši – taková čistota je zřídka slýchaná. O prokreslení středního pásma lze hovořit jen v superlativech, jež platí i pro přesné, konkrétní basy, které se spouštějí až k nejhlubším oktávám. Quarty, které hrají výborně i potichu, si nezadají s profesionálními monitory, jež však takovou přidanou hodnotu postrádají, neboť se neotevírají k dolní části akustického spektra – a o chladné analytičnosti nemůže být vůbec řeč. Když připočteme téměř trojrozměrnou hudební scénu a vynikající dynamiku, dostáváme zvuk za všechny peníze, a nejenom proto, že v dané kategorii nemá konkurenci.”

No significant other will look at a pair of Magico A3s and exclaim, “Oh, those would look great in our living room!” But the Quarta will definitely warrant a second look. The Silver Ebony finish of my review samples was striking, and the speaker’s retro proportions just look cool. But don’t be fooled — the old-school look does not produce an old-school sound. There’s no woolly bass or boxy tonal colorations — just linear sound quality, engineered and voiced by someone who knows his way around computer modeling software and listening tests. More than that, the Classic Quarta is an easy speaker to live with day to day. And while the Quarta can’t squeeze out the bottommost octave, what bass it does reproduce is potent and well controlled, even at high volumes.
