Rosso passioneWith a decade of experience building the well known XN270, we have developed an enviable mastery about how a top-class closed cabinet can perform. We are proud to introduce the new Evoluzione version, based on the original conception. XN 270 Evoluzione uses only Scan-Speak Revelator drivers matched together by a real first order crossover. Each detail has been treated with the highest possible care: the cabinet is hand-made using 30 mm thick MDF and the whole cabinet structure is braced with a shaped 22 mm thick panel. The internal walls are damped with (1)foam, (2)bituminous boards and (3) pyramids to break up internal standing waves. The crossover uses only audiophile passive components and the impedance is linear for a stable resistive load. The new XN 270 Evoluzione represents the pure fulfillment of Roberto Barletta´s dream about how a fine audiophile speaker should sound. It is highly recommended the use of our stand Metallico.
Since June 15th 2013, XN 270 Evoluzione uses special golden-plated XAVIAN PRAGA binding posts, completely made in Czech republic.
